We just put up the Christmas tree. I love standing and just looking at it,
or doing schoolwork nearby. We've always used tiny coloured lights and a conglomeration of collected ornaments and I can't imagine it any other way.
Speaking of ornaments, I just made a ton for an elaborate Christmas tea I am planning for when I get back from my first week with the children. I've wanted to do a crazily formal and special Christmas extravaganza for the girls from our church for quite awhile.

in real life they are very sparkly, tiny, and creamy looking. I am having an enormous amount of fun planning this occasion, and it will include more baking than I've ever done at once, and lots of decorating and pink and white and silver Christmas themes.

and fun and everyone will have to dress up as much as possible.
and now studying and bed! It's been a very tiring weekend.

i can't wait till Christmas, i don't formally celebrate it, but we put up a Christmas tree, decorate the house, and give gifts...
everything just seems so magical then
I love this time of year and seeing Christmas trees start to appear in windows!
I just put up our 8ft tree last night! woohoo! I love dimming the lights and just looking at it! lol! We watched Home ALone 2 and drank spiced tea.

They are adorable!! Did you use a pattern, or did you free-hand them? I want to make some too! I want to start making some Christmas stuff that Jon and I can use when we get married.

christmasssss time! oehyeah hihi its always so cozy with christmas, and then we have no school and we get presents lovely. Yes I study interior & design :) So i hope later on that i can design some rooms into a beautiful place hihi.
