'you see the outside first'

After taking part in Oh Hello Friend's 'lovely package' exchange, I was persuaded to put much more effort into wrapping gifts and trying to make them look creative and pretty, as well as the contents. Here are some of the most recent results. As you can see I love brown paper bags and doilies and string.
Do you enjoy wrapping gifts? Do you like to watch people open them or do you get embarrassed? I love watching and seeing their (hopefully) happiness, but I also get nervous!

Back to wrapping -
love,
Cait

Oh, wrapping is my demise. I guess I don't have the patience for it, and my husband puts me to utter shame with his beautiful wrapping! Yes, my husband wraps things with such detail and care...Oh well! I love giving gifts, so I better just keep at it. :)
Yours are gorgeous!

You've done it again :)
I love your wrapping; I'm always looking for different ways to present a gift and I much prefer this style, rather than the traditional paper.
Lately I've taken to taping together old pieces of encyclopedia paper and using colorful strings of yarn.

Your packages are lovely! I love wrapping and giving gifts-I don't like opening them myself.

Merry Christmas!

Your wrapping is so pretty! I like to wrap, but I'm not very good at it. I'm too much of a perfectionist to not try to wrap nicely, but sometimes it's very frustrating. At any rate, I'd rather give gifts -- although I do get a little nervous when I'm not completely sure whether or not they'll like it. Opening gifts is fun too, but I'd still rather be a part of giving. I wish you a blessed Christmas!
