this is my husband (I love saying that), singing me a silly song off the top of his head and being the rockstar that he is.

we can't believe Christmas is so soon! I still need some more ideas for Joel - it's hard; and he just had a birthday too!

How are you choosing, buying, making, and wrapping gifts this year?

Sparkles,

I gave my parents two gifts each. One I bought and one I made. My mum got some hand-blown Milk and Honey drinking glasses and some ceramic birds I made. My dad got the new Penguin book of the Ocean and an oil painting of finches that I painted.

I am trying to make most of my pressies this year.

On Saturday I leave for a roadtrip with my boyfriend. All other gifts will be purchased while away. Boys are hard to buy for - I think he will choose his own and I will pay for it ;-)

We're not doing any gifts for one another this year. Instead, we are sponsoring a Compassion Child. I confess, the tree will look empty, but I feel so good about this decision.

I love your purple wall!

I finished my Christmas shopping early this year, so I don't have to worry about that anymore.

I can't waiiit for Christmas though, I love this time of the year :)

Awwww, so glad to see you're doing great! :) Men are so hard to buy for! Once they turn about 16 it seems like they get more and more difficult. :P We always buy gifts for the kids, and then play "Dirty Santa" with Hubby's siblings and their wives. On my side of the family we buy for my Mom and Dad, and my two siblings, and then we draw names for the rest of the family.

I haven't wrapped a single present yet! I need to get on that...
