The horses borrowing my grandparents' field have gotten into the terrible (but only natural) habit of eating from the fruit trees across the fence. My friend's mom and little sister visited yesterday, and took some very entertaining photos.
The girls and I made cupcakes and picked flowers, and they fed the horses carrots (much drooling was involved). It was a fun afternoon and I think they had fun (as exhibited when they hid under the bed when it was time for Ariana to leave!).
My father flies in from Dubai tomorrow night, and my little brother is currently at Boy Scout camp - his first week away ever! I am ordering new piping supplies and reeds, and we are having a cookout with the cousins. Summertime!

Beautiful horses! Are they Gypsy Vanner's? I love draft horses with color.
Gypsy's are really rare around here, but I have always admired them. They are absolutely gorgeous! Borrowed or not, I'd love to have a pair eating in my yard. ;) By the way, if you'd like I can send you an invite to read my blog, that way you don't have to leave comments on the other one. Your call! I enjoy your posts!
Such preciously beautiful horses! Lovely shots, sweet dear, I really like the last one, there is such a gentle serenity to it.
Scores of hugs,
♥ Jessica
