what happens at band camp

...really is no secret.

The Ohio Scottish Arts School was, as always, a fantastic week of excellent instructors, lots of piping, fun and silliness, and learning at new levels. Both of my teachers were excellent (the renowned Bob Worrall and Reay MacKay) and put in extra effort with their advanced classes.
Of course a week with highland kids can't be complete without plenty of inside jokes and pranks on Drew Duncan, the piping director. (including piping 'happy birthday' to him at lunch when his birthday is in November!)
Now I'm in beautiful Washington state, enjoying driving and the mountains.

with love,
Cait
P.S. I have no clue what game they were playing in the photo!

How lovely that you're having a wonderful trip, sweet heart! I hope that you enjoy Washington state. While I haven't been there myself, I did grow up in the Canadian province (British Columbia) that's nestled right above it, and the two are quite similar.

Be well and have a beautiful week,
♥ Jessica
