Lebanon: cute kids and ancient buildings

Lebanon was beautiful. It was good to see old friends again (and to see children whose birthdays I remember!), joke about culture, remember stories, laugh at the kids faces and antics (that is a snail that Judson is kissing), see the rough beauty and ancient ruins in Byblos, Sidon, Tyre, Beirut, and southern villages. A soap factory, a hippodrome, harbors, ice cream, a circus troop, gorgeous little Jemmilie.

but I'm especially glad to be home again.
love,
cait

I've never been to Lebanon and now I really want to go! I love how you didn't post all about the night life and etc...things that I am far from interested in!

How beautiful!
I love how those pictures look like they're from another time!

since I live extremely far away from you (in Minnesota), I think it's amazing that you just took a little "jaunt" over to Lebanon and visited a hippadrome. How cool is that?!
But I do know what you mean about loving being home again too. :)

Absolutely incredible! The buildings are amazing, and it looks like your company was a lot of fun. :)

Lebanon, land of the cedar trees, land of Gibran and palm trees and beauty.
Especially the face of the little girl in the photo third up from the bottom.
Who is she?
Did you feel the spirit of Khalil Gibran?
