Fire Kite

I'm listening to Eisley's new e.p. and you should get it too. (Ambulence may break your heart though. But at least get that and The Valley)

And I've been painting - and thinking
- ugh, I have no technique, no skill there. It's all wishes
.

I'm making a list of herbs and spices for more girls waiting to be made. Some of my new favorites are Bergamot, Calendula, Aprica, and Calamintha. They will make lovely pictures.
Last week I deleted facebook (and a few weeks before ended my brief round with tumblr). Time is too precious, now and always. Facebook is handy, tumblr inspiring, but right now it's not what I need for distraction.
This is a busy time. Always, but the ret of October is filled with guests, serving, preparation, a conference (D.A. Carson in Dubai!), and then a flight out to Texas. So exciting; but possibly overwhelming too!
Do hold on to time. 'look carefully then how you walk.'

with love,
Cait

if I delete facebook, I would probably die at my desk!! I am busy, too but I am glad you chose to handle that positively!

Sounds like a busy season is really fixing to pick up. You do know that Texas is God's country, right? ;) You can drink milk and honey, soak your feet in the river Jordan, and then pick up any phone and have a direct line to heaven. :P Okay, so maybe my husband has corrupted me. He's a native Texan, and wishes we lived there!
Time is precious, and spending it wisely is a must. :)

don't be too hard on yourself when it comes to painting!!! I find that an artist is always always always their worst critic!

After finding that facebook and studying weren't walking hand in hand well, I deactivated mine too.

Eep, I should probably delete Facebook, as I have exams soon! I don't think I will, though, I'll try my very best not to get lost in reverie and time-wasting!
